Preserving Virginia's Land.
Protecting Its Future.

Our Mission is to enhance diverse wildlife habitats, strengthen critical connections with nature, and preserve Northern Virginia’s unparalleled rural landscape.  As development pressure increases across our region, protecting this land has never been more urgent.

FEATURED EVENT

Run for Conservation 5K at Stoke

On May 25, join us at historic Stoke for a relaxed, adventure-style 5K through open fields, wooded trails, and rolling hills. Whether you run or walk, this event is less about pace and more about experiencing the land, history, and conservation spirit that define our community.

Originally built in 1840 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Stoke Farm spans 300 acres and remains deeply connected to the region’s equestrian and conservation heritage.

Participants can enjoy post-event refreshments, community gathering time, and a memorable morning outdoors in support of conservation education and stewardship initiatives.
